Stop
You must yield to crossing traffic from both directions and are always required to come to a complete stop before entering the intersection. You may only proceed when it can be done without danger or obstruction to other traffic.

Both make you give way. The difference is the wheels: under the triangle you may roll on into a clear gap; under the octagon the car must come to a complete stop before you go – even when nobody is coming.
