What the discount is worth

Full access costs 299 kr for a month and 149 kr for a week. With the student discount you pay 239 kr for the month and 119 kr for the week. It is a one-time payment – nothing renews by itself, and there is no subscription to cancel.

The discount is taken off whatever the price is at that moment. If a campaign is running at the same time you get both, so you are never in a position where it pays not to confirm that you are a student.

Who counts as a student

If you have an email address from your school, you get the discount. Where you study decides, not how old you are: upper secondary counts exactly as much as a university, and that is worth stating plainly, because most people taking the Norwegian theory test are upper-secondary pupils.

Upper secondary, vocational college, university college and university all count. You confirm it with the email address your school gave you – there is no student card to upload, no paperwork and no photo of anything.

How to confirm

Create a free account, tick that you are a student, and enter your student address. We send a six-digit code there, you type it in, and the discount is in the checkout.

You can pay full price straight away if you would rather not wait for the code – payment is never blocked while you confirm. A confirmation lasts one semester, after which you confirm again before your next purchase.

What you get for the money

The same as everyone else: the theory course of 22 chapters and 58 lessons, mock exams drawn at random from 1480 questions, topic practice with an explanation for every answer, and the full sign catalogue of 277 signs.

A free account gives you one fixed mock exam, chapter 1 of the course and a short deck of topic practice. The student discount applies when you go beyond that.

Frequently asked questions

Does the discount apply to upper-secondary pupils?

Yes. It turns on where you study, not how old you are, and you confirm it with your school email exactly as a university student does. Most people taking the theory test are at upper secondary, so leaving them out would be odd.

What if my school is not recognised?

Get in touch through the contact form and we will sort it out. You need do nothing beyond telling us where you study – we reply by email once the discount is in place.

How long does a confirmation last?

One semester. We do not check whether you are still enrolled; the confirmation simply runs out, and you confirm again before your next purchase. It takes a minute.

Can I use my student email on more than one account?

No, one student address covers one account. The address is used only to send the code.
