Driver and owner responsibility on the theory test
What you answer for before the trip, during it and after something has gone wrong. The theme mixes practical requirements – child seat, load, trailer – with what happens at an accident scene.
What the test asks
What is your responsibility as the driver, whoever owns the car: that it is in a legal condition, that passengers are restrained, that the load cannot shift, and that the trailer is within what your licence allows. What is the owner's – insurance, the periodic inspection, that the car is registered.
And the duties when something happens: the order at an accident scene – secure, assess, alert, help – what you do in a tunnel fire, and the four things the emergency operator needs. The first aid asked about is the simple kind: is the person breathing, clear airway, recovery position, keep warm.

The traps
The child-restraint limits. Children under 135 cm must use an approved restraint; 150 cm is a figure from a neighbouring provision and a common wrong option. Likewise the trailer: it is the combined weight of car and trailer that decides whether class B is enough, not the trailer's weight alone.
And believing the owner carries responsibility for the car's condition. The driver does. Borrow a car with a broken light and you are the one sanctioned – and the test asks exactly that.

Who is responsible for the car being in order – driver or owner?
Both, in different ways. The driver must make sure the car is in a legal condition before every trip, whoever owns it. The owner is responsible for the car being registered, insured and presented for its periodic inspection.
What do I do first at a traffic accident?
Secure the scene – hazard lights, high-visibility vest, warning triangle well behind – then assess the injured, call 113 with where, what, how many and whether there is further danger, and then help. The order is the point: a second collision at an unsecured scene injures more people.
How tall must a child be to go without a child seat?
Children under 135 cm must use an approved restraint suited to their height and weight. From 135 cm they may use the car's ordinary seat belt.
